On March 11–12, partners of the European project Interreg SUDOE Programme Ceramic+ gathered in Coimbra, hosted by CTCV – Centro Tecnológico da Cerâmica e do Vidro, for a consortium meeting dedicated to reviewing the progress of the project.
The meeting brought together all project partners to review current activities and coordinate next steps. The various working sessions focused in particular on the progress of work packages, ongoing technical activities and the planning of the project’s next steps.
The Pôle Européen de la Céramique, partner in the project and actively involved in Work Package 3, took part in the discussions. On this occasion, the cluster was accompanied by its associated partners: the Musée national Adrien Dubouché and the Four des Casseaux, two key institutions representing Limoges’ ceramic heritage.
A key milestone of the meeting was the launch of the project’s Expert Committee, which will provide external expertise and support the development of the project’s activities.
In addition to the working sessions, partners also had the opportunity to explore the local ceramic ecosystem through several visits, including the Lufapo Hub, the CTCV – Centro Tecnológico da Cerâmica e do Vidro, the training centre CEARTE – Centro de Formação Profissional para o Artesanato e Património, and the historic company Sociedade Cerâmica Antiga de Coimbra.
These in-person meetings play an important role in strengthening cooperation between partners and ensuring the successful implementation of the Ceramic+ project, which aims to foster innovation and collaboration in the ceramic sector across the SUDOE area.
The Pôle Européen de la Céramique would like to warmly thank CTCV – Centro Tecnológico da Cerâmica e do Vidro for hosting and organising this meeting.
