Governance

The Cluster’s purpose: actively contributing to the ceramic industry economic development by supporting and driving innovation along with performance forward in France through a collective approach which brings together companies, research and training organisations as well as private and public players.

The European Cluster of Ceramics’ mission is to coordinate and capitalise on key competitiveness factors: innovation capability, R&D and financing access, growth and skills development, international expansion.

Governing bodies

The Cluster’s members are organised within « Association pour le Développement et la Promotion du Pôle Européen de la Céramique », governed by the French law of 1st July 1901, commonly known as « Pôle Européen de la Céramique » (or European Cluster of Ceramics).

The association is led by a Board of Directors. This board includes equally industrial members and other members (funding members, research and training organisations, technological centers and parks, trade associations and unions, consular authorities) and is currently chaired by M. Nicolas Laval, Programme & Project Manager at Safran Ceramics.

The Board of Directors elects an Executive Committee within its members.
