The new Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées Agglomeration Community was created on 1 January 2017, bringing together the Grand Tarbes Urban Community, the Communities of Communes of Bigorre-Adour-Echez, Gespe-Adour-Alaric, the canton Ossun, Lourdes, Batsurguere and Montaigu. Tarbes Lourdes Pyrenées is home to the Céram’Innov Pyrenees Economic Activity Zone in Bazet with SCT, Boostec Mersen, Vegeplast, Pall Exekia, Cerafast and Ceraver.
