CIRIMAT conducts research on technical ceramics for various sectors (aeronautics, space, energy, health, electronics, luxury goods, …), from their design to their performance in service. They are prepared in the form of powders, thin films, coatings and solid parts using various processes (soft chemistry, PVD, sol-gel, additive manufacturing, SPS sintering, …). CIRIMAT has access to state-of-the-art characterization techniques and is involved in valorization and technology transfer operations to the industrial sector.
