The Engineering Schools of the European Center of Ceramics, as well as the Training and Research unit of the Faculty of Science and Technology, are gold standards for the education of engineers specialising in processes and in the applied engineering of mineral, non-metal materials. AFPI Limousin runs training courses in the ceramics field.

Founded at the end of the 19th century at its historic location in the heart of Limoges, the National Higher College of Art (ENSA) of Limoges Aubusson works, in France and abroad, to export its specific features based on the primary vocations of its two sites: "fire" arts in Limoges (ceramics, porcelain, glass, enamel and jewelry), and textiles in Aubusson (embroidery, weaving, textile design and fashion design).
