Joining the Center involves accepting the challenge of being more competitive in order to increase your business.

Why participate in the Ceramics Competitiveness Cluster?

A site for exchanges and dynamic action

For the manufacturers, participating in the activities of the Center is all about:

  • Developing projects with research laboratories, technical centers, technology transfer centers, their clients and their suppliers.
  • Actively participating in the development of new processes, on which they can test their products.
  • Exchanging ideas, information and skills.
  • Launching joint studies on the sector’s development and the competition.
  • Finding dynamic and skilled staff of all levels of qualification to take part in business expansion (from engineering schools, universities, continuing education organisations and schools that are affiliated to the Center).
  • Searching for partners together outside of their territory in order to undertake more ambitious projects.
  • Profiting from joining communications, enabling them to present their skills from within a coherent group of complementary actors. Through this communication, their environment is enriched by the arrival of new industrial and research actors.

Benefiting from the latest technological advances

In order to meet the technical and scientific challenges that the manufacturers throw at them, the Center’s partners (laboratories, technical centers and technology transfer centers) rely on original results on ceramic processes and surface treatments.

In cooperation with manufacturers, confidentiality procedures have been instigated in order to identify and then manage confidential and non-confidential information.

Operating in order to serve manufacturers

The Center’s manufacturers have been placed at the heart of the governing system, and with the help of scientists and technologists, control the coherence of all of the joint initiatives taken by actors on the ground. They thus benefit from an optimisation of resources employed and maximised synergies.

A team of three people is available to mobilise activities around the most relevant joint initiatives in order to bring them to fruition as quickly as possible, whilst taking each party’s interests into account.

A constant effort is made to adapt the Center’s training groups to the needs expressed by the companies.

Local councils and the State coordinate to provide the most appropriate public funding for each project supported by the governing body of the Center.
